Dan joined the firm in 2013 and became a partner in 2018. Dan concentrates his practice in the theatre industry, representing leading producers, dramatists, financiers and other participants in a wide variety of transactions. Dan also has significant experience advising on film/TV deals, publishing matters, employment arrangements in the creative industries and special licensing situations. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, focusing on middle market private equity deals and entertainment-related transactions. He has published papers on contract theory and dispute resolution in the Cardozo Law Review and the American Journal of Mediation. Before becoming a lawyer, Dan worked in theatrical general management and helped to develop, launch and manage Broadway, Off-Broadway and international stage projects.
