Michelle Elsner represents clients across the media and entertainment industries, with special expertise in literary publishing, theater, executive employment and intellectual property matters. In Michelle’s literary practice, she counsels authors, collaborators, literary agents and agencies, publishing executives, independent publishing companies and others in the publishing industry. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was Associate Principal Counsel at Disney Streaming and spent five years as an intellectual property associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP advising clients, including artists, writers, producers, directors, fashion executives, 501(c)(3) organizations and private companies, on intellectual property and technology matters in corporate transactions.
